【NTU Announcement】 Q&A for students who postpone their entry to NTU or are unable to come to NTU

New students: The registration process can be done online. The online registration is expected to be available from Monday, September 7, 2020 9:00 AM to Saturday, September 26, 2020 5:00 PM. After entering Taiwan, students will have to submit their authenticated graduation certificate and transcripts for the check of the academic qualification and complete other necessary procedures of registration before receiving their student ID.
New students: The registration process can be done online. The online registration is expected to be available from Monday, September 7, 2020 9:00 AM to Saturday, September 26, 2020 5:00 PM. After entering Taiwan, students will have to submit their authenticated graduation certificate and transcripts for the check of the academic qualification and complete other necessary procedures of registration before receiving their student ID.

In response to the issue of overseas students returning to the Republic of China (ROC) (Taiwan) for study, the Ministry of Education (MOE), in accordance with various guidelines and regulations announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), and on the premise of giving consideration to the ‘priority of epidemic prevention’ as well as the ‘rights and interests of overseas students to be educated’, has proposed specific and comprehensive arrangements of standard operating procedures (SOP) and related supporting measures for allowing overseas students to return to the ROC (Taiwan) for study….

To tackle the ongoing epidemic, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) of the US hold a COVID-19 Hackathon in April. Among the 200 projects being showcased, the Smart Triage App, developed by Taipei Medical University (TMU) won the prize. The TMU team consists of Professor Shabbir Syed-Abdul and his colleagues from the US, India, Hong Kong and Colombia.

However, little did people know, Thalidomide has become the prescription medicine for leprosy, HIV, and multiple myeloma.
